| Cajun Yankee (Kentucky-bred two-year-old filly) |
We were most fortunate to pick up this royally-bred two-year-old filly by red-hot sire Yankee Gentleman out of a promising young Bertrando mare at a great price. Yankee Gentleman ranked 15th on last year's national second-crop sire rankings. He sired four stakes winners last year, including $708,616 winner Golden Yank. His yearlings averaged over $29,000 at sales last year. On the racetrack, Yankee Gentleman was arguably the fastest of legendary sire of champions Storm Cat's sons, blazing 6 furlongs in 1:07 4/5 at Del Mar, posting a 117 Beyer. Yankee Gentleman is not only by the world's top sire of sires, he's out of a grade I stakes winner mare, so his remarkable early success as a sire comes as no surprise. Our filly is out of southern California allowance winner Cajun Flash, a winner of 3 races from 4 starts with $90,000 in earnings. Her sire, Bertrando, can usually be found near the top of the California sires list. Our filly is now a half-sister to a grade II stakes placed winner of over $183,000 as Snapshot. This four-year-old is still campaigning and certain to add to his bankroll and stakes resume'. Our filly's full-brother, Cajun Gent, is also stakes placed with earnings at $133,000 and is also actively campaigning. She has another half-brother active at the racetrack over $98,000. The dam is a full sister to $244,327 California stakes winner Lacquaria and a half-sister to stakes $394,212 stakes winner Wild Lightning, also the dam of two stakes winners. The third dam is by chef-de-race sire Buckpasser. This family is loaded with quality black-type winners and producers. The filly grades out as an "A" on nick rating. The filly is a well put-together, big chested, large hind-quartered Kentucky-bred individual with three large white socks. In recent months, she's grown much taller, filled out and looks like a million bucks. She completed her initial training and will be heading back to the training center shortly. She'll eventually be going to Lynn Whiting, who trained the 1992 Derby winner Lil E Tee. Because of our incredibly good fortunate on timing and price, we're able to offer this tremendous pedigree and conformationally correct two-year-old at $300 plus assessments to be sure all partners have paid the same for a 2-share unit. | California Prize (California-bred two-year-old filly) |
We purchased this good looking California-bred two-year-old filly at the 2009 CTBA sale and we got a steal. She's by grade II stakes winner of $636,707 Benchmark, one of California's leading sires. He's sired 14 stakes winners, including millionaires Brother Derek and Idiot Proof. The filly is out of Creole Delights, by Bertrando. While Benchmark is a solid and attractive sire and the Nick rating on the filly is A+, it was the female side of the family and the filly's good looks that really caught our attention. The mare ran just three times in southern California Maiden Special company and was third in her second start. We suspect she suffered a career-ending injury in her third start. She is a full-sister to California stakes winner of $244,327 Lacquaria and a half-sister to $394,212 stakes winner Wild Lightning and $60,939 stakes winner Minnetonka Mist, who is also by Benchmark. Interestingly, the catalog was printed just before her other full-sister, Cajun Flash, had her top two offspring earn stakes placings, including grade III Snapshot. Our filly is from the immediate family of grade I stakes winners Sewickley ($1,017,517), Cash Run ($924,201) and Shared Interest ($667,610). The filly is very well balanced, poised and confident. She's got big feet, which indicates she's got another growth spurt coming, too. She's breezing at Golden Gate now. She's offered in 3% shares at $375 plus assessments to assure all partners have paid the same. For more information or to request a Partnership Agreement on this group, please Contact Us. |

| Appealing Resume (Washington-based filly) |
Appealing Resume was a recent private purchase, again being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of a great buying opportunity. She's a three-year-old Kentucky-bred filly who will be racing at Emerald Downs next season. She's by Succesful Appeal, former Champion freshman sire in the country and currently 68th ranked national sire, including nine 2009 stakes winners and 44 lifetime with earnings over $15 million. He stands in Kentucky for a stud fee of $22,500. She's out of Emerald Downs stakes winner of $61,038 Strong Credentials, by Carson City. She's a half-sister to stakes-placed Restless Missile. Certain to be one of the best bred fillies on the track. The second dam is $205,237 stakes winner Northern Hilite, by Vice Regent. This is the immediate family of group III stakes winner French Friend. AR had a solid campaign at Emerald Downs with a win, second, third and couple fourths and is taking a short break now before coming back later in the year. This good-sized and impressive looking filly has speed, class, a super pedigree and should be a solid performer for us. She's available in 3% units for $300 plus assessments to assure all partners have paid in the same for expenses. Her three-year-old, Glory Belle, by Honour and Glory, is also running in Allowance company with earnings near $50,000 in just 7 starts. Neither of these two have run for a tag. The third dam, stakes-placed winner of $115,000 Western Hope, produced grade I winner and millionaire Western Playboy and is a half-sister to three other stakes horses. | Illinois Claiming Group, 2010 |
We're looking to claim a racing prospect for Illinois in July or August. We've got two types of candidates on our shopping list. With the financial incentive of racing a state-bred at Arlington and Hawthorne, we're shopping for an Illinois-bred currently racing and ready to be plugged in. Our second option is claiming a horse at Monmouth and shipping him/her to Chicago. The advantage of this is that with the highest purse structure in the country, horse at Monmouth are running at a big discount to their values, at the risk of being claimed, in exchange for contending for huge purses. For example, $5000 claimers are running for purses of $30,000! This same $5000 horse would fit at $15,000 level at most other tracks. So, we are putting this claiming group together and collecting funds now so that when we run across the right prospect, we'll be able to jump in. This group tried to claim Last Demand in early July the day he won by 17 and missed the track record by 2/5ths. We were outshook in a 5-way shake. We'll target a $5000 claim and structure this with 4% units at $200. For more information or to request a Partnership Agreement on for this Illinois Claiming Group 2010, please Contact Us.

| Texas Claiming Group, 2010 |
We're looking to claim a racing prospect for Texas in July or August. We've got two types of candidates on our shopping list. With the financial incentive of racing a state-bred in Texas, we're shopping for a Texas-bred currently racing and ready to be plugged in. We've got a few state-bred horses already on the radar, including one that we tried to pull a group together in time to claim one in mid-July at Monmouth for $5000 that ran second and was claimed; and a filly that we tried to claim at Lone Star earlier in the meet that is now reportedly at Louisiana Downs. We'll target a $5000 claim and structure this with 4% units at $200. For more information or to request a Partnership Agreement on for this Texas Claiming Group 2010, please Contact Us.
