"Skippy" is the first foal out of our mare Southern Meeting, a well-bred daughter of General Meeting. Former Horse of the Year Skip Away is a solid sire and we’re tickled to have one of his daughters in our stable. We sold this filly at the Barretts Sale in November 2008. |

| Mr Uh Oh | |||||
![]() |
4-year-old gelding by Petersburg out of Call Me Sometime, by Tale of the Cat
In his 17th career start, Mr Uh Oh courageously broke his maiden in style and drew off to win by four widening lengths in his final career start. He came out of the race very sore and x-rays confirmed a minor knee fracture. He's been retired and will be enjoying the rest of his years in the comfort of friends, as one of our HRC partners has taken him to her farm. We claimed this tough competitor and raced him for 15 months before the injury prematurely ended his racing career. |

| 2009 Demon Warlock Filly | |||||
|
Most unfortunately, our little filly by Demon Warlock out of Royal Snowflight passed away prematurely. It appears she was not nursing well, failed to thrive and may have had some type of intestinal flaw. She died of natural causes about a month after foaling. |

| Promise Me Gold | |||||
![]() |
This good-sized filly is well bred. She’s by a promising, young stakes-winning son of Seeking the Gold out of stakes-winning dam. The second dam, Full Promise, is also a stakes winner and she produced two additional stakes horses. This is the family of $408,378 stakes winner Agiftfrom Bertie.
After two up-the-track finishes, Goldy finished after leading into the stretch in her third start. Unfortunately, she developed an ankle problem shortly after the race and we've decided not to bring her back to racing as the cost of treatment, rehab and training were primarily cost prohibitive. |

| Arizona Diamond | |||||
![]() |
Three-year-old filly by Lexicon out of Pat on the Back, by Unreal Zeal. Lexicon was a grade II winner of $820,965 on the track and is off to a good start at stud. Diamond's dam is a winning daughter of Unreal Zeal. Diamond is a half-sister to $200,000-plus stakes winner Jimmy O and another winner of over $100,000.
After two very disappointing efforts at the bottom at Emerald Downs, Diamond was sold to interests who will race her on the Oregon fair circuit and provide a good home for her after her racing days are over. |

| Turnleftatthelight | |||||
![]() |
Turnleftatthelight is a four-year-old son of successful sire Mutakddim out of a Judge TC mare. TLATL is a young, hard knocking sort who has tried a variety of distances and surfaces. He'll be racing primary in Texas for us.
We sold our stake in our 2008 stakes-placed stable star at a profit and wish him all the best of luck with his current owners. |
||||
| Every Time | |||||
![]() |
Every Time was recently picked up through private purchase. He's a four-year-old son of nationally ranked sire Unbridled's Song out of the Storm Cat mare Every Cloud. The first dam is a full-sister to grade I stakes winner Missed the Storm and grade 3 stakes winner Green Means Go. This is the family of Champions Chris Evert, Chief's Crown and Winning Colors and millionaires Sightseek, Tates Creek and Bowman's Band.
ET ran a disappointing 7th in his final start for HRC as he was claimed away from us. He didn't show much speed, made a big move on the outside around the turn and then hung in the stretch. We wish his new owners the best of luck in pulling the potential out of this impeccably bred horse. |

| Gavin Slew | |||||
![]() |
Three-year-old colt by Slew City Slew out of Merry Dream, by Basket Weave
Gavin ran 7th in his most recent start on the drop at Portland. He raced back in the field early, made up some ground around the turn and just didn't have the needed punch down the stretch in a dull effort. Gavin was given away after his last start and is enjoying a new home with a friendly family. |
||||
| Delegocho | |||||
![]() |
Four-year-old gelding by Ochoco out of La Delegada, by Lac Ouimet
Our stakes-placed four-year-old won two of three starts at Emerald Downs, including a smart win by nearly 3 lengths in his most recent. This handsome chestnut is pointing towards stakes and allowance company at Portland, where he'll stand tall against Oregon-bred company. As a tribute to his fine 2008 season that included several stakes placings early in the year at Portland Meadows and two wins from three starts later at Emerald Downs, including a feature race score, Delegocho was recognized as Oregon's top three-year-old colt or gelding of 2008. Delegocho was claimed away from us in his last start, a sixth place finish at Portland. |

He's sired 7 stakes winners in his first four crops, including several graded stakes winners. She's out of a $95,000 winning Tale of the Cat mare. Despite her great pedigre, GTOT never developed as a racehorse and we gave her away. Her younger half-sister, Eve Giselle, is a stakes star!

| Hidinginthebarrel | |||||

Hiding in the Barrel is a three-year-old Illinois-bred filly by Out of Place out of stakes-placed Barrel Racer, by Western Playboy. This big and strong filly comes from three generations of stakes mares. The first dam earned $111,888 and earned stakes placing at Arlington and never ran for a tag. He was a graded stakes winner of $733,450 on the track and he's sired 37 stakes winners so far, including millionaire Nightmare Affair.
Another well-bred filly who simply didn't display her class on the racetrack. She was traded for another prospect. |

| Spring Run | |||||
![]() |
Spring Run is a four-year-old California-bred filly by $888,000 grade I stakes winner Avanzado out of a stakes placed mare. We recently bought her through private purchase. She's bred to go long and should do well on grass. She's got the sort of pedigree that should result in a sound horse than runs for several years.
Spring Run ran fifth in her last start. She pressed the pace and dropped off contention around the turn in a disappointing effort. The filly was given away after her last start as her form really fell off and she simply didn't have the pedigree power to be a broodmare prospect for us. |
||||

| Huntersrunaway | |||||
![]() |
Huntersrunaway is a four-year-old Texas-bred son of Hollycombe out of the Runaway Groom mare Runaway Nancy. As a rapidly improving three-year-old on the Texas racing circuit, we recently purchased a stake in Hunter through his owner/trainer Danny Pish, one of the top conditioners in the region. Hunter loves to route and has a great record going long, including a recent fast closing second place finish in the $125,000 Texas Stallion Stakes.
Hunter ran another awesome race in his last, getting up in the final jump to win by a head in tough Allowance company at Lone Star. This was up against a solid field of veteran stakes and allowance company horses going a flat mile on the grass. It might be Hunter's best effort to date. Sadly, Huntersrunaway passed away suddenly a few days after his last race. He suffered an aneurysm and died in Danny's barn. |
